I was afraid that Ling would wake up upset and thinking "who are these people", but she slept deeply and quietly and woke stretching with a smile. She was happy to see her doll and doll's book and bottle. She reveled in hugs from all of us. She has on her new clothes and sneakers and is ready for breakfast!

You all look so happy. I hope the transition goes well and that you travel safely home to our UU family so we can meet Megan Ling as soon as possible.
Tell MAry Alice and Matthew that we are looking forward to hearing all the stories of what China felt like to them!
Love, Marlana
Hey, how are Matthew and Daddy Eric doing and can they grab the blog for a few? Huggggs and kissess to Mary Alice. And g'lub from Marigold to her mistress. Matthew , I saw a little girl on TV today who was 2 1/2 years old. She could barely talk and couldn't read but she could find any country on a map. We love the pictures ............ I am thrilled to see Ling doing so well with her new family. I will miss seeing her and Bao when we go back to Chaoyang this summer, as they seemed to have free reign of the place, and brought a smile to everyone's face. So glad your trip has turned around.

Hi -
So glad to hear that you were not affected by the earthquake. We have been checking your blog....and wondering how you have time to post. You are in our thoughts!! We lit a candle for all of you Friday night at Evensong...you were all missed. Enjoy your time and can't wait to see you upon your return.
The Ulrich Family
We are so incredibly happy for your family. Megan looks like she is figuring out her own way to fit in, and she appears to be pretty happy about it. What a fantastic blessing for ALL of you! After such a week of news from China, to hear such a happy story, it gives us all, such a warm, and fuzzy, hopeful feeling.
We wish the rest of your journey to continue to be a safe and a joyous one. Hang in there, believe it or not, you will be more tired when you get home... but what a wonderful kind of "tired".
We cannot wait to read about your updates, and see the pictures once you are finally home again. Be well, be safe, and know that thanks to you all, and beautiful Ling, you have shared a smile a mile wide, across many nations.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Lots of Love,
Susan, Richard, Harrison, & Hannah Moore, Orlando, FL, USA
