Megan is beginning to work harder than ever at school and it is really paying off. She is doing awesome. I got a kick out of this homework assignment, completely independently. Daddy fell asleep while supervising it and she went nuts. Read carefully the list of 4 letter words: (sloot, slort, sook, droot....etc) :-)
Megan & Shanna won a basket at the local YMCA open house, sponsored by our very own dentist! They were so excited.
Daaddyy!
The final Band Concert of the Year.
Mary Alice wanted to make this costume to wear to her drama banquet. We worked on it slowly for several sessions and she did an absolutely awesome job. She finally accepted that to do a good job sewing you have to be willing to rip a few seams! This is "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast, in her "town" dress.
Matthew at the awards ceremony. He is graduating #10 in his senior class! Congratulations, Matt! We love you so much!
Shanna turned 9! She designed this cake and Mary Alice brought it to life! Happy Birthday, Shanna!
Celebrating with Grandpa Jerry & Grandma Iris
The last Orchestra Concert of the Year. It was amazing.
It was very bittersweet, knowing this will be the last time for the group to play together. I know Matthew will continue his music at Allegheny and all his life, thanks to the wonderful music program and instructors he has had throughout his school career.
Gosh, and that catches me up to the present. I am always amazed at how quickly time goes by and how much we are involved in. It is sometimes a blur, but I love to share through the blog and relive the moments.
